We believe in the power of the written word.
Flatpage is an idea-driven editorial agency and publishing house that helps authors connect with audiences through accessible writing. We work with nonfiction authors, including academics, museums, artists, journalists, nonprofits, and businesses.
Cofounded by David Hariri and Cara Jordan in 2021, Flatpage strives to be the most innovative editorial agency and publishing house catering to intellectuals and creatives of all kinds. We want to play a pivotal role in helping authors make an impact with their ideas.
Expanding from a well-established focus in visual art, Flatpage now works with writers across nonfiction subjects and genres, including the fields of arts and culture, as well as politics and society, broadly defined.
Our team sets us apart. We work with a group of highly skilled editors, most of whom have PhDs. Our editors have professional training and certificates in their respective service areas, which means that you can expect the best quality.
In 2024 Flatpage launched our publishing division with our inaugural title: The Art of Academic Editing: A Guide for Authors and Editors. As an independent publishing house, we aspire not only to publish books that are thought provoking and paradigm shifting but also to change how books are accessed, including through the possibilities offered by new technology.
These collaborators already trust our work.
